Free AI Video Generation Tools

Everything here will generate video without a credit card. That's a lower bar than it sounds, because most tools advertised as free are trials, a handful of one-time credits, then a paywall. What's on this list gives you a recurring allowance you can actually plan around, whether that's a daily credit refresh, a monthly quota, or a genuinely uncapped tier.

The trade-offs are all in the same three places, so it's worth knowing which one you care about. Watermarks: some add a watermark to the generated video. Resolution: usually 720p free, 1080p paid. Length: clips run five to ten seconds almost everywhere, so anything longer means stitching. There is currently no free tier that gives you long, clean, unwatermarked output, and any site claiming otherwise is worth a second look.

This is the list most likely to be out of date, and I'd rather say so than pretend otherwise. Free tiers in AI video change month to month, Sora shut down in April 2026, Runway paywalled its free video the year before, and Google has already restructured Flow's credits once since launch. I re-check this one roughly monthly rather than quarterly, and the notes below describe what each tier looked like at the last check, not a promise about today.
